A day with our spanish property lawyer
Our Spanish lawyer and Solicitor, Susana Lajusticia, specialises in Spanish property transactions.
Susana is a dual-qualified Spanish solicitor/abogado who is bilingual and provides a wide range of legal services in relation to Spanish property matters.
Her day-to-day work varies enormously. She assists clients with Spanish property related matters including purchases and sales of Spanish property but also with property transactions related to divorce matters, Spanish probate matters and Spanish Estate administration.
Our Spanish solicitor also assists clients with Spanish Wills and more complex matters where property transactions may not have been carried out or finalised as they should have been and we are instructed by clients to rectify title issues or even remove charges that should not have been there or should have been removed prior to acquiring the Spanish property.
Susana studied her Law Degree in Spain where she qualified as a Spanish lawyer and also holds a Masters Degree in International Law. She subsequently qualified in the UK as an English solicitor and has been specialising in International Property transactions since them.
She mainly acts and represents British clients who have interests in Spain however our Spanish lawyer also has clients from far afield including clients based in the America, Asia and North Europe.
Clients often instruct the services of our Spanish lawyer and solicitor as they seek the expertise, language ability and cultural understanding that we can provide
With our broad expertise and years of experience we are able to deliver a service to the standards that a UK based client would expect whilst also offering the foreign and international expertise that is required in this very specialist area of law. Our Spanish lawyer also benefits from a wide net of professional relationships built over the years with numerous notarios (Spanish officials), registries, surveyors, banks, currency exchange companies, translators and other contacts in Spain.
Our Spanish lawyer can offer the best of both countries: her Spanish legal expertise, language and cultural knowledge from her native Spain combined with her English expertise and British standards from her UK qualification. Avoid the “manana, manana” feeling for which Spain is well known of.
